Board of Directors

Frederick Water is governed by a five-member board. The board regularly scheduled meeting is the third Tuesday of each month at 5:00 PM. Meetings are held in the board room of Frederick Water’s office at 315 Tasker Road, Stephens City, Virginia. These meetings are open to the public. Each member of the board is appointed at large by the Frederick County Board of Supervisors and serves a four-year term. Frederick Water’s board appoints the engineer-director who is responsible for daily management of Frederick Water. The board members elect a chairman, vice-chairman and secretary-treasurer. These elections are held the first meeting in May and the offices are held for one year. The members and offices of Frederick Water are:

Gary Oates – Chairman

Mr. Oates has been a director since April 2015. His current term ends April 2019. He is president of GreyWolfe, Inc, a land surveying and civil engineering firm in Frederick County and has served on the Frederick County Planning Commission since 2006.

Stanley J. Crockett – Vice Chairman

Mr. Crockett has been a director since November 2008. His current term expires April 2020. He is the manager of the Virginia Inland Port. Mr. Crockett also serves as the chairman of the Frederick County Economic Development Authority.

Martha Dilg- Secretary – Treasurer

Mrs. Dilg has been a member since May 2015. Her current term expires April 2020. She is also a member of the Stephens City Planning Commission.

Tom Simon

Mr. Simon has been a member since May 2015. His current term expires April 2021. He is a member of Frederick Water’s personnel committee and the vice-mayor of Middletown.

Christopher E. Collins

Mr. Collins has been a director since May 2016. His current term ends April 2022. He is a local attorney as well as a Virginia delegate.
