REFUND POLICY

No refunds are allowed for utility payments.

You are not purchasing any products from Frederick Water; you are paying for your existing utility account.

Any overpayment on your utility account will be posted as a credit balance to be applied to future bills.

If your account is closed with a credit balance, Frederick Water will generate a refund check and mail to the address specified at the time the account is closed.

Refunds may be requested for credits in excess of $50.00 due to duplicate payments, erroneous payments, or subsequent leak/account adjustments. To request a refund for one of these reasons, please contact customer service at (540) 868-1061 ext. 4.
